"This opportunity is covered under Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968."
Pineda Village is spread across four defined communities comprised of 65 buildings and 144 units and a Community Center. The buildings were constructed over a period of several years beginning in 1952 and have been renovated throughout the years.
Starting in late June 2018 we will be on site remodeling all the units. Although we have subcontractors hired for all phases of this work, we may need additional workers to complete the project.
Applicants for possible job openings for Construction labor may be required to do the following:
• Operate hand and power tools of all types.
• Clean and prepare sites, erect scaffolding, dig trenches, clean up debris.
• Assist other workers as needed.
This is a HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development) project and we are looking to hire qualified Section 3 applicants in Brevard County.
We provide equal opportunity to all persons without regard for their race, age, color, physical handicap, military service record, religion, sex or national origin. All phases of employment including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, selection for training, promotion, demotion, discipline, rates of pay or other compensation, transfer, layoff, termination, recall, use of facilities and participation in all company sponsored activities, will be administered so as to further the principle of equal employment opportunity.
Inside this package, you will find an Employment Application and an Invitation to Self-Identify if you are a minority, an individual with a disability or a protected veteran. There is an additional form to identify yourself as a section 3 resident and to let us know what skills you have to help us in the hiring process.
Thank you for your time and we hope to hear from you soon!
